Bring your hiking shoes as it is quite a hike from the roadway.
It is located along the North Loop Trail below Mummy Mountain at about 10,000 ft elevation.
Authorities will not reveal the precise location of the specific oldest tree with this distinction in order to protect it, so don't expect a posted sign, however MANY of the trees in the vacinity are nearly as old.
To get to the trail head: take I-15 north from Las Vegas to Highway 95 N to Reno about 10 miles to Highway 157 and turn left to Mt Charleston Kyle Canyon.
